The northern part of Manitowoc County lies within Wisconsin State Senate District 1 . It has been represented by Sen. André Jacques, who is not running again. Nic Cravilion (R) is running against Mark Becker, who is Independent (not affiliated with a party. LWV Door County held a forum on October 14th with these Senate candidates, along with Asseembly District 1 candidates. That district is not in Manitowoc County.
​The Federal Mid-term Elections will be Tuesday, November 3rd.
WISCONSIN ASSEMBLY DISTRICT 25 - See link below to an interview with Chris Able, Wisconsin Assembly District 25 candidate. Candidate Tittl was asked for an interview, but did not respond to contacts by email, phone, and U. S. mail.
Two candidates are running for Wisconsin State Senate District 9 to replace retiring Sen. Devin LeMahie. Amy Binsfeld (Republican) will run against Christian Ellis (Independent). There is no Democrat running. LWV Manitowoc County and LWV Sheboygan County invited the candidates to a forum. Binseld did not respond. Ellis will do a Meet and Greet in Manitowoc Saturday on October 24th, 10 to Noon at 1207 Washington Street, Open to all.
